This is the exclusive Kickstarter Edition of the Booster Display Box, which was crowdfunded through Kickstarter – the most successful crowdfunding campaign for a TCG ever. Besides being available before the wider retail release in October, the general differences to the retail version are the following:

• 14 instead of 12 cards in every booster pack
• chances for exclusive Promo and Alternate Art cards
• better odds for getting rare cards (see below)

Alteredis an innovative TCG which offers a new, refreshing approach to both competitive and casual players. Set in a universe of rich lore and visual design (influenced by Miyazaki’s work and Dixit-like illustrations), this game is about exploring a new, reshaped Earth after a mysterious event, the Confluence, profoundly altered it.

In Altered, you’ll lead two Expeditions as they discover and explore the land surrounding your native peninsula of Asgartha. One of your Expeditions will be led by your Hero, represented by the Hero Expedition marker, and the other one is led by their Companion, represented by the Companion Expedition marker. Your Expeditions will progress towards each other as the game goes on, and your goal is to be the first to have them meet up.

Contents of each KS Edition Booster:

• First card is a foil Hero card
• cards 2 through 8 are common cards
• card 9 is a common card (50% chance) or rare card (50% chance)
• card 10 is a rare card
• card 11 is a rare card (98.6%) or a promo card (1.4%)
• card 12 is a rare card (83.3%), non-foil unique card (14.9%), or foil unique card (1.8%)
• card 13 is a common card (50%) or rare card (50%)
• The 14h card is a non-playable card. It is a token (33.3%), a Mana Convergence (16.7%), a common Foiler (28.1%), a rare Foiler (16.5%), or a unique Foiler (5.4%).
• For one in every 250 boosters, a Golden Booster replaces a standard booster. It contains 4 unique Foilers and 10 unique cards (non-foil at 89%, foil at 11%).
